1. Industrial Development Bank of India

   IDBI was set up in July 1964 under an Act of Parliament as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Reserve Bank of India. In 1976 its ownership had been transferred to Government of India. Main function of this financial institution is co-ordinating the working of institutions at national and State levels engaged in financing, promoting and developing industry. International Finance Division of IDBI transferred to Export-Import Bank of India, established as a wholly-owned corporation of Government of India, under an Act of Parliament in the year 1982. Today it has various services like IDBI Capital Market services, IDBI Bank, IDBI Intech etc.
